Villanova University Online, a leader in online project management education, will be a featured participant at the upcoming Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Congress 2011 North America. The Global Congress will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas from October 22–25, 2011 and will offer project management professionals across all industries an opportunity to interact with their peers and learn about best practices in project management.
Wayne Brantley, MS Ed, PMP®, faculty member and a Senior Director of Villanova University Professional Education Online, will present the “Essential Skills for Project Managers” in 15-minute mini-courses during the event breaks on Monday and Tuesday, October 24-25, 2011.
“These condensed training sessions are designed to provide quick bursts of powerful information from leaders in the project management training industry,” said Wayne Brantley. “I’ll be presenting on a variety of project management topics, providing attendees with a potent yet fun way to earn the PDUs they need to help keep their certifications current.”
Each mini-presentation offers attendees .25 PDUs and helpful advice every project manager needs. A total of 1.5 PDUs will be awarded to visitors who attend all six sessions. All presentations will be conducted at Booth 701 in the Exhibit Hall on the following dates and times:
Attendees of these mini-presentations will also gain a greater understanding of Villanova’s project management certificate courses, such as the Master Certificate or Advanced Master Certificate in IS/IT Project Management or Applied Project Management. These courses can help students prepare for PMP® or CAPM® certification exams, while mastering key project management skills for real-world application.
