The University of Scranton Offers Bisk Foundation Teacher Education Scholarships

The University of Scranton, a U.S. News & World Report-ranked university, announces applications are being accepted for the Bisk Foundation Teacher Education Scholarship. Two scholarships will be awarded to gifted educators enrolled in either the Master of Science in Education: Curriculum and Instruction or the MS in Educational Administration program, both offered 100% online.

The scholarships are valued at 25% of current tuition.

“These scholarships reflect The University of Scranton’s commitment to helping outstanding teachers to gain the expertise and skills to inspire and lead their students and colleagues,” said W. Jeffrey Welsh, PhD, Dean of the College of Graduate and Continuing Education.

The University of Scranton’s video-based e-learning programs are powered by University Alliance, a division of Bisk Education. The 24/7 access to the virtual classroom is designed to accommodate working teachers striving for professional excellence.

Scholarship applicants must be first-time students, demonstrate they have made a positive impact on others, and have a bachelor’s, master’s, specialist or doctorate degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA from an accredited institution.
