The University of Scranton Offers Bisk Foundation Scholarships

The University of Scranton announces applications are being accepted for the Bisk Foundation Scholarship for the Special Spring 2013, Part A session. The U.S. News & World Report-ranked university will award scholarships to two gifted teachers enrolled in either the Master of Science (MS) in Curriculum and Instruction program or the MS in Educational Administration program, both offered 100% online.

“The University of Scranton is proud to support outstanding educators who are committed to pursuing professional excellence and personal growth,” said W. Jeffrey Welsh, PhD, Dean of the College of Graduate and Continuing Education.

The University of Scranton’s 100% online programs are powered by University Alliance, a division of Bisk Education. The video-based e-learning system offers convenience and flexibility to busy professionals.

The scholarships are valued at 25% of current tuition. Applicants must be first-time students, and have a bachelor’s, master’s, specialist or doctoral degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA from a regionally accredited institution. They must also demonstrate that they have had a positive effect on the lives of others.
