The University of Notre Dame Addresses Evolving Needs of Business Professionals With Expanded, Targeted Leadership and Management Programs 100% Online

The demands of today’s business world have brought about an evolution in the way organizations view leadership and management. As a result, leaders and managers must keep pace with increasingly specialized challenges to excel in an ultra-competitive, rapidly changing business environment. New 100% online programs from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business now enable professionals across all industries to distinguish their roles and concentrate on gaining applicable skills.

“While leadership and management are closely linked disciplines, each requires proficiency in a fundamentally different skillset,” said Paul Slaggert, Director of Non-Degree Programs at the Stayer Center for Executive Education. “By segmenting them into separate programs, we’ve empowered business professionals to focus on the specific areas of expertise that are most relevant and beneficial to their careers.”

Originally a single three-course program, the two new programs feature an expanded and updated curriculum that allows students to focus on each subject matter area. The Professional Certificate in Management is online management training that provides tools and best practices for building a productive team through effective planning, coaching and decision making. The Executive Certificate in Leadership, consisting of three eight-week leadership courses online, emphasizes skills for developing strategy, solving problems and driving accountability.

Students completing either of these video-based e-learning programs will receive new credentials from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business Stayer Center for Executive Education. Those completing both programs will receive an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management.

Delivered through a virtual classroom powered by University Alliance, the programs provide unmatched convenience and mobility for busy professionals. Streaming video technology allows students to view professor-led lectures anywhere, 24/7.

Notre Dame is now enrolling students for the inaugural session of these programs, which begins December 1. For more information, please call 855-300-1475 or visit www.NotreDameOnline.com.
