The University of Scranton Offers Scholarships for MS in Education Students

The University of Scranton (US), in partnership with University Alliance and Bisk Education, is pleased to announce that applications are currently being accepted for the Bisk Foundation Teacher Education Scholarship. The scholarship is available to first-time applicants for either of the two University of Scranton Master of Science in Education degree programs. The recipients of this prestigious award will receive special tuition rates through graduation as long as they remain an active student in good academic and financial standing in US’s online program.

The scholarship is intended to help working teachers gain knowledge that can help them excel in today’s academic environment by earning a Master of Science: Curriculum and Instruction degree or a Master of Science: Educational Administration degree. Students in the Curriculum and Instruction program gain essential skills to strengthen their classroom teaching, while students in the Educational Administration program learn proven techniques for managing complex school environments.

Two new students will be awarded scholarships for the Special Fall 2011, Part B session, making this an ideal time for those seeking scholarships to get started on earning a master’s degree in education from The University of Scranton.
