U.S. News & World Report Ranks St. Thomas a Best National University

The University of St. Thomas has again been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a Best National University. It is the 14th year the university has achieved that distinction.

The University of St. Thomas offers online programs in special education and law enforcement leadership powered through Bisk Education with video-based e-learning.

“The University of St. Thomas is honored to be consistently recognized in these rankings,” said Dr. Mary R. Reichardt, Director of Online Education Programs at the University of St. Thomas. “U.S. News rankings for Best National Universities are widely respected, and we take pride in the distinction.”

The university’s online Master of Arts in Public Safety and Law Enforcement Leadership program will honor its first graduates this December.

In addition, the online special education program offers a master’s degree, license and certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders and is celebrating its one-year anniversary. The program’s success prompted an expansion that will add a master’s degree and license with specializations in Academic Behavioral Strategist (Cross-Categorical) and Developmental (Intellectual) Disabilities, launching January 2015.

The latest U.S. News & World Report rankings were released September 9 and are available at www.usnews.com/colleges. The 2015 print edition of the “Best Colleges” guidebook is available online at the U.S. News & World Report website. The rankings take into account such measures as peer and counselor assessments, retention and graduation rates, student selectivity, faculty resources, financial resources, alumni giving and graduation rate performance.
