Michigan State University Announces 100% Online Certificate Programs in Strategic Global Management & Global Supply Chain Management

In 2012, Michigan State University began offering 100% online Master Certificates providing professionals around the world access to award-winning faculty within the Broad College of Business. These Master Certificates have been met with overwhelmingly positive response from students such as Frank Martinez, who after completing his course said, “The content of this program is top notch within the industry. At the end of the course you will not only gain the knowledge and tools to excel in the profession, [the professor] also provides [you] with the latest research, development and trends from around the world.”

To continue providing advanced development programs to strategic leaders worldwide, MSU is introducing two new Master Certificates:

Master Certificate in Global Supply Chain Management
The 100% online program gives professionals the tools and techniques to integrate and coordinate the full range of global supply chain functions so companies can gain a competitive advantage in markets around the world. This program consists of three, eight-week courses. This is the sixth Supply Chain Management certificate program offered 100% online from MSU, ranked #1 and #2 in Supply Chain Management undergraduate and graduate programs by U.S. News & World Report.

Master Certificate in Strategic Global Management
This 100% online program will enable professionals to explore how processes, people, culture and organizational structure work together to create a winning strategy in a competitive global economy. It is comprised of four, eight-week courses: Global Business Strategy, Global Supply Chain Management, Cross Cultural Management, plus one elective to customize the educational experience.

Both certificate programs are offered online through MSU’s Broad College of Business - home to the world-leading global online resource globalEDGE™ (globalEDGE.msu.edu), the federally designated Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), and the worldwide headquarters of the prestigious Academy of International Business.

“As the global economy expands, professionals need the right skills to maintain their own competitiveness, and their company’s competitiveness as well,” says Dr. Tomas Hult, the Byington Endowed Chair and Professor of International Business and Director of the International Business Center in the Eli Broad College of Business. “A credential from MSU not only equips professionals with these vital skills, it also brings international prestige to their resume.”

Students will receive instruction through state-of-the-art online technology powered by University Alliance. This online classroom features streaming video lectures with convenient 24/7 access, as well as a variety of interactive tools that connect instructors and students, including two-way voice over IP, instant messaging and shared virtual whiteboards.
