Jacksonville University Accepting Applications for RN to BSN Online Scholarship

Jacksonville University, a U.S. News & World Report-ranked and regionally accredited university, is now accepting applications for the Jacksonville University Online RN to BSN Honor Scholarship for the Spring I, 2013 session. First-time students enrolling in JU’s RN to BSN online degree program should submit an application before the Dec. 24 scholarship deadline.

The scholarship is valued at 25% of the current tuition rate for online RN to BSN nursing courses, for a maximum amount of $3,575. The reduced tuition rate will be honored through graduation if the scholarship recipient remains an active degree-seeking student in good standing.

Scholarship applicants must have at least a 3.4 GPA upon applying to JU and maintain a cumulative 3.4 GPA or above.

“Jacksonville University is committed to supporting talented and hard-working RNs in reaching their goal of earning a BSN degree,” said Andra Opalinski, PhD, ARNP-BC, CEN, CNE, Director of RN to BSN Programs at Jacksonville University School of Nursing.

JU’s online RN to BSN degree program offers 24/7 access to professor-led courses that include live chat rooms, streaming video lectures and message boards. The convenience of the online RN to BSN program, which is powered through University Alliance technology, gives RNs the flexibility to advance their careers while continuing to work.
