Jacksonville University Accepting Applications for Online RN to BSN Scholarship

Jacksonville University (JU), a U.S. News & World Report-ranked university, is accepting applications from first-time nursing students for its Jacksonville University Online RN to BSN Honor Scholarship.

The scholarship is valued at 25% of the current tuition rate for JU’s online RN to BSN nursing courses, up to $3,575. The application deadline is April 15, 2013; one scholarship will be awarded for the Summer I, 2013 session.

Scholarship applicants must have at least a 3.4 GPA upon applying to the RN to BSN online degree program and maintain a cumulative 3.4 GPA or better through graduation. The reduced tuition rate will be honored if the scholarship recipient remains a degree-seeking student continually enrolled in JU nursing courses.

The regionally accredited JU awards six of the scholarships each year to newly enrolled students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree online.

“At Jacksonville University, we are proud of our long-standing commitment to fostering the professional and personal growth of high-achieving nurses,” said Andra Opalinski, PhD, ARNP-BC, CEN, CNE, Director of RN to BSN Programs at JU’s School of Nursing.

The online RN to BSN degree program, which is powered through University Alliance technology, provides hard-working nursing professionals with 24/7 access to professor-led courses with a 100% online classroom, including streaming video lectures and live chat rooms.
