The RN to BSN scholarship is available to first-time students with a minimum 3.4 GPA when applying to the online program. The application is due two weeks before the start of the upcoming session, which begins April 28, 2014.

Applicants must submit a resume and a 300-word essay that explains how earning a BSN degree will make a difference in their lives.

Consistently ranked as a top university by U.S. News & World Report, Jacksonville University boasts an outstanding faculty and unmatched academics. Its impressive history includes over 10 years of excellence in online nursing education.

Jacksonville University’s online CCNE accredited RN to BSN program provides busy RNs the flexibility to earn a bachelor’s degree in as few as 10 months while continuing to work and maintain family responsibilities. Jacksonville University’s video-based e-learning platform is powered by University Alliance, with streaming and downloadable lectures, professor-led interactive discussion boards and online chat rooms.

“Registered nurses are already making differences in the lives of many, and Jacksonville University wants to return the favor,” said Dean Judith Erickson, PhD. “Our online RN to BSN honor scholarship is our way to give these nurses an even better opportunity to further their careers.”

Students in Jacksonville University’s online program earn the same degree as on-campus students, and may be eligible for a variety of financial aid options, including employer tuition reimbursement.

RN to BSN students will earn 30 credits for an active RN license toward the BSN and may transfer up to 60 credits from regionally accredited universities.
