Jacksonville University Now Accepting Applications for Online RN to BSN Scholarship

U.S. News & World Report-ranked Jacksonville University (JU) is accepting applications from newly enrolled nursing students for the Jacksonville University Online RN to BSN Honor Scholarship. One scholarship will be awarded for the Spring II, 2013 session. The deadline for applying for the scholarship is Feb. 18, 2013.

The scholarship is valued at 25% of the current tuition rate for JU’s online RN to BSN nursing courses, up to a maximum of $3,575. The regionally accredited JU awards six of the scholarships annually.

“The scholarship program reflects Jacksonville University’s long-standing dedication to promoting and supporting the professional growth of skilled RNs,” said Andra Opalinski, PhD, ARNP-BC, CEN, CNE, Director of RN to BSN Programs at Jacksonville University School of Nursing.

Scholarship applicants must have a 3.4 GPA or higher upon applying to JU’s RN to BSN online degree program and maintain at least a cumulative 3.4 GPA. The reduced tuition rate will be honored through graduation if the scholarship recipient is a degree-seeking student continually enrolled in JU nursing courses.

Powered through University Alliance technology, JU’s online RN to BSN degree program provides students with 24/7 access to professor-led courses with a 100% online classroom, including streaming video lectures and live chat rooms. The flexibility and convenience of the online program means that RNs can continue working while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and advancing their career.
