Jacksonville University Delivers Free Continuing Education Course to Over 5,000 Nurses Through Nurse.com

Jacksonville University (JU), renowned for nursing education online, wishes to thank the thousands of registered nurses who honed their skills by earning nursing continuing education (CE) credit for free during a recent promotion. Offered by JU through Nurse.com, the promotion ran from March 1, 2011 through June 8, 2011.

More than 5,000 nurses took advantage of the opportunity presented by JU, earning nursing CE credit in “Networking for Career Advancement,” which typically costs $10. Registered nurses, who were able to complete the course for free, gained innovative networking skills that are crucial to career advancement. The course will help nurses advance their careers by giving them new tools to facilitate employment or promotion opportunities that can lead to increased earnings.

“Jacksonville University is committed to fostering continuing education for nurses. This free promotion is our way of making it easier for nurses to earn the CE needed to meet state licensing requirements, and we sincerely appreciate each of the over 5,000 nurses who completed the course on Nurse.com,” said Dr. Jeane Richards, Director of RN-BSN programs for Jacksonville University’s School of Nursing. “JU believes it is our duty to foster lifelong learning for nurses, help them perform at their best, and advance the profession.”

JU, consistently ranked as a top master’s-level university in the south by U.S. News and World Report, offers its renowned RN to BSN and Master of Science in Nursing degree programs in a 100% online classroom for world-class instruction and 24/7 convenience.
