Dominican University Announces New Illinois Teacher Scholarships for Master of Arts in Education Students

Dominican University, a U.S. News & World Report-ranked and regionally accredited university, is delighted to announce a new scholarship program for exceptional Illinois educators pursuing a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) degree.

The Bisk Foundation Illinois Teacher Education Scholarships, which are offered in partnership with University Alliance, provide a $1,000 tuition savings to first-time students in one of Dominican’s 100% online MAEd programs in Elementary Education, Reading or English as a Second Language.

“Dominican University is proud of its core commitment to nurturing the professional growth of outstanding teachers,” said Colleen Reardon, EdD, Dean of the School of Education. “This exciting scholarship program reflects our continued support of educators in our home state of Illinois.”

In order to be eligible for a Bisk Foundation scholarship, applicants must be newly enrolled students, and have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and an Illinois Teaching certificate or Confirmation of Access.
