U.S. News-Ranked Jacksonville University Unveils Free Continuing Education Credit Offer at Nurse.com

RNs can now complete a one-credit CE course on Nurse.com free of charge, courtesy of Jacksonville University. Nurses typically pay $10 to take Resumes: The Recruiter’s Perspective, but JU’s sponsorship enables them to earn a CEU (continuing education unit) at no cost through May 31, 2012.

“With this new continuing education sponsorship we’re once again helping RNs meet a portion of their state CE requirements and expanding our own mission of encouraging lifelong learning for nurses,” said Judith M. Erickson, PhD, CNS-BC, Dean of Jacksonville University’s School of Nursing. “We couldn’t be more pleased to give something back to those who give so much to their patients and to the profession itself.”

Resumes: The Recruiter’s Perspective shows nurses how to create strong resumes and cover letters that will capture the attention of employers and help boost their career potential.
