Dominican University to Award Bisk Foundation Teacher Education Scholarships for Fall I, 2011 Session

Dominican University, a U.S. News & World Report-ranked and accredited university, in partnership with University Alliance and Bisk Education, is pleased to announce that applications are currently being accepted for the Bisk Foundation Teacher Education Scholarship.

Two scholarships will be awarded for each of the six sessions per year. For the Fall I, 2011 session, the scholarship is valued at more than $5,400 per student or $450.45 per course. Recipients will receive special tuition rates through graduation as long as they remain an active student in Dominican’s online program.

These scholarships will help gifted educators excel by earning a Master of Education in Reading, Elementary Education, or English as a Second Language through the convenience of Dominican’s online programs. Earning a master’s degree is a vital step for teachers to become better qualified and advance their career possibilities.
