Currently seeking an Associate Education Specialist (Part-Time) in Tampa, FL for Bisk Education! Bisk Education is a rapidly growing company which facilitates the promotion and online delivery of degree and certificate programs from the nation’s leading traditional universities.

Position Summary:

As the voice of U.S. News University Connection, the Associate Education Specialist will help connect potential students to their higher education provider of choice.  The Associate Education Specialist is expected to help the potential student navigate the abundant degree and/or certificate programs offered by the U.S. News University Connection client schools, locating a matching educational program that best fits their needs.

The Associate Education Specialist will successfully utilize the toolsets provided by U.S. News University Connection to generate student inquiries (sales leads) which will then be distributed to the appropriate client schools.  This role will require the ability to handle scripted inbound calls and outbound calls via an automated dialer; therefore the Associate Education Specialist has the ability to help numerous potential students each day.  

The successful candidate will be comfortable meeting or exceeding student inquiry generation (sales leads) goals while achieving high levels of customer service and quality metrics. 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the U.S. News University Connection brand by providing high levels of service/professionalism and supporting the current and future client and customer base.
  • Generate qualified student inquires (sales leads) based on consultative sales and communication skills, by matching the customer’s needs with that of U.S. News University Connection’s client base.
  • Learn and become proficient at managing the U.S. News University Connection toolset which includes the VICIDial, Concierge Matching Tool, Bria VoIP Softphone, ADP, and other job related tools.
  • Utilize and become proficient at sales techniques such as but not limited to up-selling, customer rapport building, appropriate rebuttal tactics, and listening skills to achieve established goals.
  • Follow approved call scripting procedures and communication guidelines to meet or exceed customer service and quality goals.
  • Learn and become proficient at being the liaison between U.S. News University Connection and the potential student by answering questions and providing the needed information in order to complete the required forms and fulfill the prospects needs.
  • Become proficient at multitasking and navigating between multiple systems while continuing normal dialogue and interactions with the potential student.
  • Learn and become proficient in the delivery and successful completion of all school forms by obtaining accurate information and consent from the prospect.
  • Embrace and implement the tactics and techniques provided by management during coaching and training sessions in order to achieve desired goals.
  • Adhere to the company’s Quality Assurance program and the associated policies.
  • Learn and become proficient at providing top quality customer service to potential students at all education levels.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Previous experience in a scripted sales environment a plus.
  • Self-motivated, assertive personality with the desire and ability to adapt quickly to new information.
  • Effective time management, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Quantitative/analytical skills
  • Proficient in computer and internet usage and with program suites such as Microsoft Office.
  • Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Schedule & Salary:

  • Several 5 hour shifts available, Monday through Fridays.
  • Training hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, for the first five days of employment.
  • Candidates must be able to attend all training hours to be considered for this position. Regular shift schedule begins on the following Monday.
  • $10.00 hourly compensation, great opportunity for advancement

Education:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred
