Currently seeking a Marketing Manager in Tampa, FL for Bisk Education! Bisk Education is a rapidly growing company which facilitates the promotion and online delivery of degree and certificate programs from the nation’s leading traditional universities.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager, working with a team of graphic artists and a copywriter (when available), is responsible for developing and executing the full range of integrated marketing communication deliverables including: direct response programs, Internet website internal lead forms and internet advertising materials, product collateral and catalogs, consumer and trade advertising, promotional materials, publicity releases label and packaging design, consumer PR premiums and advertising specialties, trade show and meeting materials. 

Functioning in a similar manner to an advertising agency, the Marketing Manager will be responding to the needs and business objectives established by the corresponding Brand Management group including their project timetables and budgets.

To accomplish their goals, the Marketing Manager must collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface on a daily basis with Brand Management, Marketing media and creative teams, Sales, Technology, Instructional Design, Finance/Administration and University partners.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Marketing Communications aspect of the annual marketing plan and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all projects
  • Create Marketing Materials with consistent communication style for the product line including:
    • Direct response programs and fulfillment
    • Internet websites, internal lead forms and internet advertising materials
    • Internal email campaigns
    • Product collateral and catalogs
    • Interactive program demos (CD and Internet)
    • Print advertising
    • Promotional materials
    • PR/publicity releases
    • Label and packaging design
    • Consumer premiums and advertising specialties
    • Trade show and meeting materials
    • Internal sales training materials
  • For each project, create Project Scope Documents which outline in detail project deliverables, milestones, deadlines & specifications delivered to the team at the onset of a project (Creative Brief)
  • Manage the work flow between graphic designers and copywriters to ensure coordination and adherence to standards as well as Brand Manager objectives
  • Schedule project meetings and create meeting agendas & objectives to control meeting length, productivity & efficiency
  • Send meeting summary with action items to all necessary team members
  • Allow sufficient time for projects to include internal and external approval of all creative prior to use
  • Architect Interactive Projects in Visio to provide site maps
  • Create wire frames (no visual designs just wire maps with information of layout content) for all pivotal project pages and documents
  • Trade show coordination (manage show participation including paperwork, logistics and materials)
  • Become familiar with the company’s product offerings from a customer/user perspective
  • Review competitive sales materials and websites on an ongoing basis

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience in marketing communications or marketing management with an internet eCommerce background preferred
  • Fiscally responsible
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Strong copywriting skills, content gathering and organization
  • Experience working with an directing creative strategy in the areas of interactive media, direct marketing, websites and print/collateral
  • Leadership ability with strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills, team oriented, and proactive

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or Advertising
  • MBA preferred
