Currently seeking an Instructional Design Intern in Tampa, FL for Bisk Education! Bisk Education is a rapidly growing company which facilitates the promotion and online delivery of degree and certificate programs from the nation’s leading traditional universities. 

Position Summary:

The Instructional Design Intern will work under the supervision of Program Managers and Instructional Designers to assist in the creation of online degree and certificate programs. ID Interns may be assigned a wide range of course development tasks including: planning, organizing, and conducting video shoots; creating storyboards and/or post-production media; designing and building course elements and websites, and managing the flow of deliverables from department to department. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participating in analysis and design meetings with faculty, subject matter experts, and other instructional design team members
  • Assisting with planning, organizing, and conducting video shoots
  • Creating storyboards and/or post-production media
  • Building courseware
  • Managing the flow of deliverables from department to department

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Instructional Design principles and best practices such as Bloom’s Taxonomy and adult learning principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with design team, subject matter experts, IT developers, and production personnel
  • Ability to work in teams and/or alone

Education Preferred (May Be In Progress):

  • BS/A in Education, Communication, IT, or related field
  • MS/A in Instructional Design/Technology preferred
