Currently seeking a Collections Representative in Tampa, FL for Bisk Education! Bisk Education is a rapidly growing company which facilitates the promotion and online delivery of degree and certificate programs from the nation’s leading traditional universities.

Position Summary:

The Collections Representative will contact overdue accounts by phone and email to collect past due balances.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Contacting overdue accounts by phone, mail, and email to collect balances
• Maintain a queue of approximately 1,000 – 1,250 accounts each
• Follow standard operating protocol
• Collections Representative must understand origin of receivables balance in order to clearly and effectively explain situation to customer.
• Submit payments/payment plans into the system for processing
• Meet daily production standards set forth for student contact/attempts at collection
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi task and work among different systems

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• 1 year of experience in first party collections preferred
• Experience with higher education debt preferred

Education Preferred:

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (to relate to the students who are pursuing higher education)
